How Apps Can Pay For Christmas and Holiday Gifts ~ My Free Christmas

The holidays are the hardest time of year for those of us with a tight budget. Buying Christmas presents should not be so expensive! Yet somehow people go in debt every year over buying gifts for family and friends! This year I will be providing plenty of gifts, even though I have spent nothing out of pocket for them! If you have been following the blog, you know that I love free stuff. I also adore free money, and I am racking up gift cards and payouts through PayPal everyday! I will admit it does take a little bit of time and effort but it is well worth it when you see your balance growing! If you want to learn how to buy Christmas gifts without spending any of your hard earned cash, then this post is for you!

Free Cash For Christmas Shopping

It goes without saying you will have to put in a little time to reap the rewards from what I am about to tell you. It is best to have both a smart phone, and a computer. Though you can still rack up some cash or gift cards if you only have one or the other. First I will cover some apps that I am raking in cash daily with! Then I will tell you my super secret for earning cash back on every purchase I make!

Apps That Earn Free Cash

These apps will earn you cash payouts through PayPal. How fast you earn the money is entirely up to you.

  • ibotta
The ibotta app is the absolute best shopping rebate app I have found. Especially since your already going grocery shopping anyway, you may as well get cash back while your at it! This is not just cents either, a lot of products have over $1.00 cash back. Right now ibotta is offering free $10 signup, and a $5 bonus for every friend referral once they submit their first receipt. You also get bonuses based on team goals. I have over 180 team members through my Facebook, and we are well on our way to completing all team goals! This app pays out through PayPal at $20. You can easily reach the goal in just a few days by referring friends, and submitting your grocery receipts.

Depending on the items you need to purchase, there
are really high cash back points available.

Right now ibotta has a lot of rebates available on holiday staple items. As well as personal care, so if you are planning on buying items anyway, you may as well take advantage of the rebates they have. It is simple, you unlock the rebate (usually by answering a single question, sometimes watching a video. After you purchase the item you scan the barcode, and then scan the corresponding receipt and get credit. Once you reach $20 you can get payout, joining now gives you a bonus $10 so you are already halfway to payout! It also offers some rebates for online retailers.

  • Money App
Money app gives you points to complete offers, download apps  and watch videos. The points can then be turned in for PayPal payouts. I received my first Payout within a week, and am almost to my second in under a week. It did take two days for them to complete the transfer and my funds to be in my account. If you use referral code J4CF3W you get a 200 point bonus on sign up.

It took me little time to reach payout with Money App!
Downloading free apps and running them builds
points quickly!

You also get daily check in points, as well as 100 points daily for just sharing on Facebook. Credits are easy to build up and payout happens fast. This can be a bit time consuming, a few apps do require you to reach certain game levels. Though the ones I have completed I reached the level requirements in under 10 minutes.

  • EasyShift by Quri
Easyshift is one of my favorite apps right now. No need to refer anyone and I was paid in under 14 hours for my first 'shift'. Easyshift pays through PayPal once your shifts are finished. Partnering with brands EasyShift has you check displays, and product availability at most retailers. Some of these shifts can be pretty lengthy and time consuming, and others very short.

Depending on your location you can have 100's of
potential shifts available!

You can choose the shifts you want to take on the map, and it list the amounts available for each shift, and the retailer. A great app for those who live in an area with a shopping plaza. I was actually unable to complete my shift, and still was paid $13.10 to my PayPal account. I only spent about 20 minutes on my shift before I realized that it was not a good fit since I had my son in tow. There are several options for canceling a shift in the menu. I am not saying to cancel on purpose but if you get into a shift that is going to take an hour and you have a tantrum throwing toddler with you it maybe best. From Walmart, Target, to specialty or even Dollar stores, there is a shift for that! A great way to earn cash while you are doing your grocery shopping.

  • Lucktastic
Lucktastic was an app that I was unsure about at first. It is a virtual scratch off lotto ticket app. You earn tokens that you can enter giveaways or cash in for gift cards. As well as winning instant cash on the tickets. Though I have only won, $2 in cash so far, the rest has all been through cashing in points for gift cards. Of course there are ads before every ticket since advertising is how they are able to payout cash when you win. You can cash in your winning tokens for gift cards like Amazon, Aeropostale, and many more. Or you can choose to use your tokens for entries into their prize giveaways. It does get monotonous at times, the ads seem to repeat. So I may do 10 different scratchers and have to watch the same ad 10 times. Though I usually just have the sound off, and do them while I am binge watching Netflix at night. C'mon it's a scratcher you don't have to pay that much attention to it! Plus it is a great way to pass the time when you're stuck waiting on appointments, or in the pickup line getting your kids from school!

  • Points2Shop
Points2Shop is a fantastic app to use towards holiday gifts! Points2Shop allows you to build points that can be used towards the purchase of a large range of items on Amazon, or you can trade in points for cash payouts. What is really awesome about this is their referral program for friends and family, you earn $1.00 per referral right now. Half when they sign up, and half when they complete an offer. All on top of the cash pay for surveys and other ways to earn. The surveys pay pretty well, starting at 0.50 and going much higher. As well as earning daily points for just being active, this is a great opportunity to banks some cash and buy gifts! Right now if you sign up they are offering 250 points for a limited time. There are many items available to purchase for 250 points and under. So even if you just sign up long enough to complete your registration, you can buy something!

  • Toluna
I love Toluna! There are many different ways to cash out the points you earn, and points come easy and fast! Toluna offers quick surveys (one question, worth 15 points) as well as offering you higher points for creating content. You can post topics, and get 500 points for those. As well as earning points for commenting (at least 180 characters) on someone else's topic. Think of this like social media and post away and you will surely be earning points in no time like I do. For a limited time Toluna is offering 500 points for using the app after you sign up! Toluna is a great way to earn gift cards and cash, I have used it in the past to rack up a PayPal payout when I was desperate for cash!

Toluna also offers a chance to test new products before they hit the market! All you have to do is keep an eye on the 'test products tab and register when something becomes available. After you get the item, you just fill out a survey after you test it! Starting Nov 21st they will have OPI nail polish available to test! You also have the option to spend your points on gifties, gifties are available for low amounts of points. The gifties are a chance to win an item instantly, not all are winners but 150 points for a 6 month Hulu subscription is a chance worth taking. There are a wide range of gifties, and they update all the time.

How to Maximize Your Extra Cash Potential

Now that you know the best apps to earn extra money for the holidays. I want to tell you how you can earn cash back while using rebate apps like ibotta! With ibotta you can submit receipts from online purchases. When you shop online you should always use eBates! If you are new to ebates then you are in luck! They are offering a $10 Walmart Card or Ebates balance at sign up! Ebates gives you cashback on purchases! Right now they are offering some amazing cash back when you shop on Amazon!
